Fees for Services
My fees per counselling session are reflective of the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta’s Recommended Fee Schedule which is $200.00* (based on a 50 minute session). As I am a Registered Psychologist my services may be covered by your employee health benefits, health insurance, or other extended health care coverage you may have.
• Payment is taken at the beginning of each session (cash, cheque, VISA, and Mastercard accepted)
• A receipt and/or invoice will be given at the end of each session which you can submit for reimbursement from your health care coverage or insurance provider
• Late cancellations (less than 24 hour notice) and missed appointments will result in a full-session fee charge
I am an approved provider under both the Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) Program and the Indian Residential Schools Resolution Health Support Program (IRS RHSP). Therefore I am able to provide therapy at no cost to eligible Indigenous clients.
Do I need a referral to make an appointment?
No, a referral is not needed. However, I will contact you once I have received your information so we can set up a 15 minute phone consultation to determine whether I am able to offer you the best services to meet your needs.
Is the information I share kept confidential?
As a Registered Provisional Psychologist, I adhere to the standards of practice, including a strict standard for confidentiality set out by the College of Alberta Psychologists. Within the context of therapy, confidentiality means that all information clients provide in session remains confidential with a few exceptions to this rule, which will be thoroughly discussed early in our first session.
How long is a session?
Generally, a therapy session is 50 minutes.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel an appointment, I ask that you contact me as soon as possible. In order to avoid a charge for a missed appointment, please provide at least 24 hours notice of your cancellation.
